There are many interesting features and insights to be displayed in the app. Like the countdown notifications to the big day, a prescribed but editable wedding planning checklist feature, a kanban board to assign and triage your wedding tasks and checklists, in-app chat between the planner and the couple, your note to keep track of your wedding ideas, a financial tool to make budgeting easy and so much more.
AhavaPlan aims to bring these features to your fingertips to assist in the planning of your big day. Our goal is to ensure that we can make the wedding planning process better, faster, cleaner, cheaper, fun and intuitive.
I followed the Design Council’s Double Diamond model approach to the creative process. The Double Diamond is a simple visual map of the design process. It’s divided into four distinct phases — Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver.
I followed the IDEO’s Design thinking model as a way for the human-centered design to support our choices during the development of the roadmap. It gave me a foundation to base our design path on the user’s findings.
